Instructions

Molding mouth guard

1. Bring the water to a boil. Hold your mouth guard by the strap, dip it into the water until it is completely covered with water. Hold the mouth guard in the water for 30 secs.

2. Remove from the hot water. Immediately place the mouth guard in your mouth against your upper teeth. Using your thumbs, push the mouth guard up and back the rear molars are covered; then bite down firmly (not hard) to make a custom impression on the bottom of the mouth guard. Place your tongue against the roof of the mouth, suck out the air and water until a tight fit is obtained around the teeth.

3. Remove the mouth guard from your mouth and place it in cold water.

4. If you feel that the mouth guard doesn’t fit correctly, repeat the steps above.

5. If necessary, use scissors to trim your mouth guard for length, and trim the corners for comfort.
